👋🏾 Hey, I’m O’Nysha Thomas — but most people know me as the Creative Powerhouse behind O’That’s Dope and Pure O'Nyx Design Studio.
I was born and raised in Staten Island, New York — the kind of place that teaches you resilience early. My mom was a single mother who modeled independence and creativity without ever calling it that. Watching her navigate life with grace and grit shaped how I move through the world — intentional, curious, and unafraid to build from scratch.
That same energy guides my work as a designer.
I blend Product Design, Visual Direction, and Project Strategy to build experiences that feel aligned, intuitive, and unforgettable. For the past decade, I’ve designed for SaaS products, fintech, wellness, nonprofits, and emerging tech brands — shaping how people interact with digital products and how teams bring ideas to life.
My superpower:
I walk into messy, ambiguous, “figure it out” spaces and turn them into design systems, clear flows, and elevated brand moments. I bridge creativity with structure, aesthetics with purpose, and product vision with execution.

💭 My Vision
To redefine what creative leadership looks like — blending design thinking, strategy, and emotional intelligence to create work that’s not only seen but felt.
I want to inspire more designers — especially Black women and underrepresented creatives — to take up space, own their power, and build systems that reflect the world we want to live in.
🌱 Beyond the Screen
When I’m not designing or teaching, you’ll probably find me in motion — working out, exploring new places with my dog O’Nyx, or journaling ideas for my next creative project. I believe creativity isn’t something you clock into; it’s a lifestyle that shows up in how you think, move, and connect.
